One of the worldwide-known culture monuments and the presentation card of the city. Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre named one of the most beautiful theaters in the whole world, same as Vienna Opera House and other pearls of European architecture. Under the “Forbes” magazine our theatre included to the list of the 11 most interesting attractions in the Eastern Europe (2008).

This theatre located in the historical building, considered as the architectural monument since the beginning of XX century, was known as Sibiryakov theatre in the beginning. The building of the theatre was founded at 1903 on the means of philanthropist A.I.Sibiryakov, who was a dream to create an own theatre for Russian dramatic troupe.
Theater’s performances are the leaders of the huge amount of theatrical festivals. Today we can say for sure that this theatre stands among the five leaders of Ukrainian theatrical industry.

Russian Theatre – is an oldest theatre in the South of Ukraine. It was built in 1874 by the merchant A.S.Velikanov, and was founded like a stage for beloved troupe of Odessa citizens. The leader of this troupe was the famous provincial actor and entrepreneur N.K.Miloslavskiy. Later the stage of Russian Drama Theatre welcomed more famous stars, as Sara Bernard, Eleonora Duze, Benout Koklen, Maria Savina, and others.

Dynamic and modern building of the theatre was built in 1981. There are a fountain, an original lights and decorative sculpture on the large square in front of the theatre. It’s one of the largest concert organizations in Odessa, which was founded at 1937.
Philharmonic Theatre located in a historical center of Odessa, and since 1946 settled in a building of the former “New Merchant Exchange”. Odessa Regional Philharmonic Theatre offers it’s listeners an opportunity to enjoy the most interesting masterpieces of world music culture annually.

It’s one of the oldest theaters for youth and kids not only in Ukraine, but in the whole post-soviet space. Was opened in May 1930. During the last years the stuff of the theatre received a lot of prizes on a such international festivals as “Scarlet sails”, arts festival “Gloria”, and the large festival of Youth theaters.

One of the oldest doll theaters of Ukraine, which was founded at 1932. This theatre starts it’s work under the leadership of Youth Theatre, and since the 1944 received and own location, it’s became static. The overhaul of the new theater’s building has finished in Autumn 2012, and the 80th years jubilee was solemnly celebrated in a new wonderful building, which marvels adults same as kids.

This is the theatre of Odessa famous comic-group “Maski”, and it was opened in 2003. Georgiy Deliev – is the permanent leader of this troupe, and it was his idea to open this theatre. It’s the one private repertory chamber theatre in Odessa. Troupe is mainly from the young actors and directors from the state theatres and sphere of cinema and show-business in general. It’s an analogue of “Actor’s House”, which is almost vanished today. A few directors with the completely different methods and ideas are work there, but they are gathering by the one very small parlor for 50 persons, where the spectators and the actors are strongly close to each other.
