In 2008 JSC “Odesskiy karavay” opened Odessa Museum of bread. Primary objective – to acquaint habitants and guests of city with interesting and many-sided history of development of bread baking in Odessa region, and also with surprising facts from history of creation and activity of bakery enterprises round the «Odesskiy karavay».
The Museum contains documents, photographs and other materials related to bakers. Parts of the material are copies from the city archive and historical Museum. History of “Odesskiy karavay” is an integral part of the history of the city. Here at one time worked as a famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky. “Odesskiy karavay” worthy endured difficult years of war, and immediately after the liberation of Odessa in open-air furnaces began to produce bread for the city’s residents. In particular, the Museum features Exposition: “history”, “Bread-Baking in Tsarist times,” “Baking in the revolutionary period”, “Bakery during the great patriotic war”, “the modern stage of development of the bakery in Odessa”, “Odesskiy karavay» – today”. On thematic stands unique materials are collected: decrees of Empress Catherine and Governors of Odessa late 18 century statutes of bakery enterprises, old recipes and preparation technology of bread, documents and pictures of war and post-war period.

In September 2010 the AVK company opened its first “Chocolate Museum” in Cherkassy. The idea of a chocolate Museum was so warmly received by guests that with the year 2011 the Museum will be in almost every city of Ukraine. In it you will find not only an educational excursion, exhibits from chocolate, but chocolate products tasting.Chocolate Museum opened December 16, 2011 year in Odessa.
In the Museum you can:
-see handmade sculptures, paintings, figurines made of chocolate
-listen to the tour about the origin and history of chocolate;
-participate in tasting hot chocolate.
